After a delayed flight in Shangers ( Old China Hands will say what’s new! ) and a strong headwind, I finally arrived in New Delhi at 10 pm, some three hours late.
After queuing up at the wrong immigration counter, well it says first and business class and I flew business class. I finally got through the e visa channel and picked my bag up.
Outside I was greeted by a guy from the hotel in traditional Indian dress and whisked to The Roseate, not far from the airport where I will stay the night.
It’s cold, but it’s warm .. well I have just come from -6c in Beijing and here in Delhi, it is a balmy 13c.
The hotel is part of the Tablet collection and tres trendy! Unfortunately, it is dark, I am tired and so photos not too good.
